screen-free activity boxes for flying with little kids
Four sealed parcels. One rule: wait until wheels up.

"it delights your kids and didn't require your own emotional labor."
— a mom, somewhere over the pacific
The rule
One box. Four seals. Opened only after the plane lifts off.
It is not a goody bag. It is a ritual that turns the worst stretch of any trip into the part they look forward to.
01 / Before
Board sealed
The closed box rides in the backpack. Nothing opens at the gate, no matter how long the delay.
02 / Takeoff
Wheels up
The moment the plane leaves the runway, the first numbered seal comes off. The whole flight changes shape.
03 / Cruising
One at a time
Four parcels, paced across the flight. Each one is good for roughly twenty quiet minutes. Sometimes more.
04 / Always
Screen-free
No tablet, no charging cable, no low-battery panic somewhere over the ocean. Just their hands and the next seal.
Curated like a gift. Cleared like a carry-on.
TSA-friendly by design
No liquids, gels, or anything that comes out at security. Every parcel is solid, soft, or paper. It rides in the bag through the line.
Screen-free, every parcel
That's the whole point. Nothing in any box needs a battery, a charger, or headphones. Their hands stay busy, your phone stays yours.
Sourced from small makers
We buy from the kind of studios and presses we'd gift our own. No party-bag plastic, no filler, nothing we wouldn't hand a child ourselves.
Age-tested, not guessed
Each item is chosen and tried for its tier. The Ready to Fly box carries no small parts. Every box is built for the seat it's going in.
What's in the box, without spoiling the box.
We tell you the category and the caliber of the maker behind each parcel. We hold back the exact reveal, because the surprise is the product. Everything is chosen, handled, and age-tested by us before it earns a seal.
Under 2 · the baby box
A small cast of soft finger puppets, made in short runs by a maker who works in wool. A whole story for little hands.
Chunky, toddler-safe crayons built for a fist, not fingers. The good kind that survive being dropped, gummed, and dropped again.
A board book with heavy pages and high-contrast art a baby will actually track. Chosen to be chewed and hold up to it.
A suction sensory toy from a parent brand you already trust. Twists, spins, and pulls, and grips the tray so it never hits the floor. The one thing that can't be thrown.
For under-2, you set the pace. Open one parcel at a time as the flight earns it. Nothing here needs batteries, a screen, or two free hands you don't have.
Ages 2 to 4 · toddler in a seat
A wooden toy car from a design studio collectors actually chase. Heirloom-grade, built to last past the flight, and the parcel that sets the tone for the whole box.
The good crayons paired with a reusable sticker scene they can tear down and rebuild a hundred times. No residue, no ruined pages.
A magnetic tin of build-and-rebuild faces. Endlessly rearrangeable, and the pieces stay in the lid instead of the seat pocket.
A board book made for altitude. Planes, sky, and the world going by underneath. On-theme by design, and good for one more read on the descent.
Built for the age that wants to do, touch, and narrate everything. Nothing in here needs a charger or a flat surface that holds still.
Ages 4 to 6 · the big-kid seat
A magnetic play tin, the item customers love most. Build, knock it down, build again. Pieces live in the lid and stay off the floor.
Crayons paired with a coloring book from makers we keep at home. Bright, generous, and worth the tray space.
A two-minute card game that is fast, a little funny, and survives a folding tray table. The parcel that gets the whole row involved.
A small DIY craft kit. A make-it project for the back half of a long flight, so the box ends on something they get to keep.
Built for the flyer who has opinions and stamina. The longer the flight, the better this box does its job.
give it as a gift
the gift that makes you the favorite
For the new baby, the niece, the friend's kid about to survive their first long-haul. Add a note at checkout and we'll write it by hand, ship it straight to them, and leave the invoice out of the box, so it arrives looking like the present it is.

Yes. No liquids, no gels, nothing that has to come out at security. Every parcel is solid, soft, or paper, so the whole box stays in the carry-on and moves through the line with you. We built the lineup around that on purpose.
Yes. Each of the four parcels is individually wrapped, so you can pop them straight into your child's own backpack before the trip. Or leave the box exactly as it comes. The wrapping is the gift. Ship it to the recipient as is and we'll never put a price anywhere in the box.
Four numbered parcels, opened one at a time after takeoff. We publish the category and the caliber of the maker behind each one in the manifest above, and hold back the exact reveal. The surprise is half the product. Everything is chosen, handled, and age-tested by us before it earns a seal.
The sealed box goes in the bag at home. Nothing opens at the gate. The moment the plane lifts off, the first seal comes off, then one parcel at a time, paced across the flight. For the Ready to Fly box, you set the pace for them.
Ready to Fly for under 2, Little Passenger for ages 2 to 4, Young Explorer for ages 4 to 6. When a child sits between two sizes, go up for a long-haul flight and down for a short hop.
Yes. Every item is selected and tested for its tier. The Ready to Fly box contains no small parts and everything in it is mouth-safe. Nothing in any box needs batteries, a charger, or a screen.
Entirely. No tablet, no headphones, no low-battery panic somewhere over the ocean. The point is to give a child something for their hands instead of a glowing rectangle, even for one flight.
No. We keep food out so the box is safe across every allergy and clears every security line without a question. Bring your own snacks. We'll handle the next two hours of the flight.

Please do. Each tier comes in two editions and we rotate new ones in, so a repeat box is never the same box twice. Frequent flyers can join the list for first access to new releases.
If the box is unopened, exchanges are open for 14 days. Email hello@parcelair.co and we'll sort it out. A real person reads that inbox.
From the desk of the founder
i made the box i kept wishing for at 35,000 feet, somewhere over the middle of the country with two small kids and a bag of toys that bought me ten minutes.
I spent years in tech, then found myself on a flight with a small kid, a dead tablet, and absolutely nothing worth handing over. Every option was a screen or a plastic bag of junk. So I made the alternative.
