Elizabeth Field DiGiovanni
Elizabeth Field DiGiovanni is the founder of Parcel Air, a Los Angeles company that makes screen-free travel boxes for children. She was laid off at 4am on May 20, 2026, filed the company's LLC before breakfast, and shipped the first order, to a stranger, nineteen days later.
"The night before every trip I'd wrap a few small new things and tuck them into the kids' backpacks, with nothing opened until wheels up. Strangers on planes kept asking where they could get one."
Elizabeth
Before Parcel Air
She spent twelve years in technology building learning and knowledge systems for global operations teams. Most recently she was AI Lead at WhatsApp. Before that she led knowledge management for Trust & Safety at TikTok across more than twenty markets.
Parcel Air
Parcel Air turns that pre-flight ritual into a box: four kraft paper parcels tied with baker's twine, numbered one to four, opened one at a time after the plane leaves the ground. Every box is packed by hand in Los Angeles, in four age tiers from under 2 through 8, and her two kids playtest everything that goes inside.
She runs the company from her kitchen table with no full-time employees and eight AI agents handling sourcing and day-to-day operations, and writes about what that looks like from the inside. In September 2026 Parcel Air landed its first wholesale stockist, a children's shop in Bend, Oregon, through Faire.
